I was visiting Witney for the day and nearly all the food places seemed unreasonably overpriced. I came across Sandwich De Witney. It's a very small takeaway only sandwich shop with fresh ingredients that are chosen by the customer. The sandwiches are value for money compared with the food available from the other places nearby. The tomatoes could do with being cut a bit smaller, but that's just me being fussy. Overall a good and tasty experience.
Brilliant sandwich shop. Baguettes and sandwiches made to order with friendly service. Great! Like most things it has got a bit more expensive recently but they don't stint on any fillings and make them up as you want them to.Food: 5/5

Really fresh baguettes- baked on premises. Good selection of fillings that are delicious & servings are very generous which makes these good value too. Can't fault them!
If only I lived in Witney, I'd quite possibly pop in almost everyday to this store! The fillings are simply superb. Mind you, I can still taste the one with cranberry sauce and Stilton if memory serves me well I had several years ago, back in 2009. Just to have an idea, I am now living thousand of miles away, across the pond, and my taste buds still crave for the indelible mark left on them by your rather tasty concoctions! Incredible!
