Polite staff but the menu selection wasn't really that great as there were no snacks for those who wanted a quick snack. It was rather a little pricey
Great food, just look at the starters! Very chilled.
Delicious lunch with my family, particularly the mushroom risotto, fish & chips and the vegetable stack. Lots of vegetarian options too which is a real bonus. Loved the autumn crumble. Great choice of beers and gins. Very friendly and attentive service from Tracey. We will definitely be back soon.
Cosy, warm, welcoming. Great food and friendly staff.
It's a nice place to sit outside especially in Summers and the service is very good and food as well.
We popped in for Sunday lunch. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. The Sunday roasts were excellent, as were the desserts. All in all a really lovely way to start Sunday afternoon.
Stayed over for a couple of nights and were pleasantly surprised. The food were really good with service to match and the rooms were very neat and comfortable. They've even put an extra heater in the room because of the cold temperature. I would definitely recommend it.
Food and service excellent. We had the private room on a Wednesday so it was not busy. Menu is tasty and varied. PS The gurnard was a new fish to me and excellent. It is a NE Atlantic bottom feeder on crustaceans. I gather an. Equivalent of the French Mediterranean dorade.
Lovely looking place but very deceiving, there's more life at a funeral home. No atmosphere. They stopped serving food early. Staff aren't friendly at all. Hardly any customers. Soda and lime is pricey, and the soda is flat had no taste. Wouldn't be rushing back in a hurry.
After an enjoyable walk on Horsell common we stumbled across the very smart Sands restaurant. I remember it as a music venue Bleak house. What a change, lovely food and charming staff. We will definitely be returning to their secluded outdoor dining garden or if the weather is bad enjoy the smart interior!
