A great asset to Morpeth and a very pleasant place to go for a cup of coffee and some retail therapy, especially in warmer weather. Whilst the number of shops is limited by it's relatively small size there's still quite a variety of goods available and it's certainly enough to keep the consumer occupied for an hour or so, if not longer. Just a pity the traditional arcade it replaced couldn't have been incorporated into the new design somehow, though it was in desperate need of renovation and modernising. However, the small covered section at least gives a nod to its historical antecedent and has certainly been finished to a higher standard than one might expect in a town of this size. Note that the use of the word "arcade" is slightly misleading as most of it is actually just an outdoor pedestrian area that doesn't offer much shelter from the elements!!

Morpeth a very nice place to visit plenty of shops.. plenty of period features...car parking can be limited...fair amount of shopping in Sanderson Arcade.

Pleasant enough limited shopping selection. Shops are focused on a specific customer base and are no doubt great if you fall into that category. Although there are mobile phone stores there is very little in the way of technology or menswear. M&S has a good food hall but also suffers an otherwise limited selection.

A good range of shops and cafes, free parking available close by, 2 hours max with meter.

My wife got another fabulous hair cut and colour, Kwok is a fantastic hair stylist, highly recommend the place
