Good place. Sam’s is a very sweet lady. She’s done some Amazing nails for me. I was a bit nervous at first because I’ve read all the reviews while I was doing my nails but it all came out great at the end. However you will have to tell her how you want your nails done or if she needs to file more or shape more etc… I’m very happy with my nails and the price.
Staff very nice, realised once I had left the shop that she had painted half of my finger along with my nails. Seemed to be in abit of a rush and nails also have bubbles on them, won't be going back again.
If I could give 0 I would, now I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt, I went a first time a couple of months ago and I felt they had definitely done a rushed job - even though it was 11 am on a Tuesday so not big line… There were bubbles and even some fuzz visibly stuck in the nail after I got a shellac manicure. I decided to go back more out of convenience then anything else since it’s not far from where I live and was disappointed yet again. My nails are extremely bumpy and uneven and there is also top coat on my fingers. I’m pretty sure this is because rather then soaking the nails from the previous shellac they just hack it away with an automatic file. Overall, bad experience and will not go back.
The best colour selection I have seen in London for shellac nail polish. There are so many colours and options to choose from. The staff were great and professional along with being the only salon I have visited that puts on three coats without me having to ask. I will be back.
I would not recommend getting your nails done at Sam's because there's a woman called Sam who done my nails and she rushed my nails plus when you look at my nails now they not straight it's at a certain angle which I'm not too happy about and when I try to mention it to her she tried to get rude and she also trying to overcharge me for a full set even though it says £20 on the board. Sam has no manners the other staff that works really respectful
Rushed service, very poor quality. Paid £30 for extension with gel finish which I was told is stronger, started braking 3 days after.I went to different place to remove them , beautician couldn't believe how badly it was all done. Definitely not recommend and I will not use again.
The worse nail salon i have ever been to. I went in for a simple infill for my acrylics and was served by a man. All was going fine until i had corrected him a few times as i wasn’t happy with what he was doing. It was a simple smile line design. He wasn’t happy with my corrections despite me asking him nicely and remaining nice whilst he was grabbing onto my hands aggressively and proceeding to tell me how awfully shaped my old acrylics were and laughing. He then started speaking in his language to his colleague and it was obviously about me. I then asked for someone else to carry on with my nails. The simple design could not be performed by both of them but neither of them told me this. I ended up accepting whatever the other colleague was able to do. A day later i see a crack in one of my nails, it then breaks and takes half my nail off with it. I go in to get it fixed at the same place because i wanted the finger to look identical to the rest. I was there for 1 hour 15 minutes for a single nail fix. The lady present was rushing the prep of nail, leading to her causing cuts on my fingers which resulted in bleeding. The smile line was uneven and dry white gel polish was used. I left the shops with glue and acrylic all over said finger and a very bloody sore finger. The service was awful, the workers were rude, the experience overall has made me despise getting my nails done despite me doing them for years. I would not recommend this nail salon to anyone even if it was the last one left on earth. Absolutely awful.
I have been coming here for a while now however my last visit was definitely the last visit. I'll start by saying things in this shop get hectic and stressful not only for staff but for customers. They are under staffed and Sam refuses to turn away customers even when her shop is already full. They will rush to do your nails so that they can get to the other customers, so what you as a paying customer will get is a result that is not worth your money. Many times I have left here extremely disappointed. They will damage your nails and deny it, also using acrylic on customers that have not requested the acrylic then using electric file to file off said acrylic until your nail is thinner than paper. During this process I was cut by the electric file and I flinched because it was PAINFUL, I was then told that the file cut me because I flinced. Sam seems to be overworked and stressed but this should never effect your work or how you deal with your customers. She also implied that she offered to soak off the acrylic but this was far from the case and thank God I had a witness to back me up on this. No I will not go back here after Sam completely destroyed my Nail.. I mean her sister had to get me a plaster so that I could put on my shoe, i think that speaks for itself.
Disgusting service. I would give -stars if possible. In 2022 why are we still accepting this blatant disrespect and degrading actions from nail techs. As a black woman you are treated poorly given poor service and spoken about in a native language. I recorded them speaking about me and had it translated. I asked why I didn’t receive a proper pedicure service and this angered the lady to the point she decided to talk about me. None of the other women in the shop were treated in this way. If you can’t offer EVERYONE the same service then move out of Acton and set up shop somewhere that attracts your preferred customer.Service: Pedicure
