We found Lucky boat whilst in Brixham on holiday. We were really impressed with the food. Really tasty, great portion sizes and Very reasonable in price.
Best Chinese food in Brixham in my opinion. Do home delivery but only take cash if they deliver, worth knowing.
Great takeaway, Crispy duck and chicken curry is spot on, always delivered in good time, thank you.

Want to have a Chinese by the sea? Shove the fish and chips places, there 10 to a dozen in the uk. But a good Chinese, that’s something rare, like hens teeth. This place is exceedingly good, see below some comments from my multiple experiences: The service- friendly and precise, they know the menu inside out and are happy to help even with the fussiest of eaters you all have one. The location- just off of the bus station with parking a plenty and a stones throw from the harbour. Now the food- lip smackingly good, now I consider myself a bit of a Chinese connoisseur, nothing better on a Saturday night, times that with the sea air and your on for a winner! In all seriousness, take away the location this is a cracking Chinese, you won’t find better in the Brixham area and further a field. I’ve had most things on the menu and cannot fault it. Think some of the negative reviews here are from some keyboard warriors with nothing better to do…..seriously, get yourself down to the lucky boat, you won’t be disappointed. Cheers!! Stayed at The Caravan Park this week and had 2 meals from here, both meals were lovely and plentiful, staff really polite. I will recommend on the holiday park face book page for future guest. Thank you Lucky Boat
No no no..was pretty much inedible..sweet n sour prawn balls had half inch soggy batter.. chips tasted refried mixed starter..was mixed....but tasted like the oil wasn't hot enough,so result was just yucky .no problem with the service. They just need a cook.suggest rename it yucky boat...sorry guys but that was really bad...
Had a lovely sweet and sour Takeaway meal from here the other evening. Enjoyed the succulent Chicken balls as they were fried in a light batter, and not too doughy, so they didn't hit hour stomach like a ton of bricks. We were staying nearby, just a few yards away really. The order was prepared so quickly, hubby was back in about 15 minutes, if that. Eveverthing was served at a hot temperature. If l was going to say anything negative, it would be that l found the sweet and sour sauce a tad too sweet. Other than that, l certainly recommend using this Chinnese Takeaway. Thankyou very much for a lovely meal.
First of all dont often do this but feel have to in this instance. This was possibly one of worst Chinese takeaways Ive ever ordered. My wife and I found it inediable. We ordered 5 dishs and only s/sour chicken balls could be considered passable. The worse aspect being lots of gristle bits in foo yung. Extremely disappointed. Can only hope this was an off night!!
Went here with my family I had a chicken chalmain with the LOVELY Chicken balls. Best Chinese shop I've ever been as I've been here before and it was stone cold. Update! Went in there the other day and staff very polite and was a nice atmosphere
