Open for both lunch and dinner, Samarkand is the capital’s first destination restaurant celebrating this part of the World where a melting pot of cultures combine to produce a rousing fusion of flavours and is set to attract foodies from across the city eager to sample this unique style of cooking.
Signature dishes on the menu include traditional favourites Jiz Biz (lamb chops with potato cake and green salad), Somsa (pastry parcel filled with lamb and beef), and the Samarkand signature Plov (a classic Uzbekistan dish of steamed rice served with lamb, beef and vegetables), which is is perfect for sharing. There will also be a selection of bar snacks such as pickled vegetables and Baklajan (smoky aubergine caviar) on offer.
