All day Lebanese cafe, canteen, delicatessen & souk in central London locations, serving popular home-style and Beirut street food.
Tony Kitous is the man credited with putting the glamour into Middle East cuisine and providing the people of the Western World the opportunity to experience real, wholesome and healthy Lebanese food in a souk- like setting.
It’s an idea that had been brewing in his mind for some time. As Tony says, “It’s something I’ve always wanted to do. It’s food that’s affordable and easy to know – healthy, light and you can enjoy it every day of the week. Comptoir Libanais means ‘Lebanese counter’ and that’s exactly what it is: somewhere you can eat casually, with no fuss. You don’t have to sacrifice comfort, style or authenticity of food just because the dining is casual."
The first Comptoir opened its doors in 2008 and has been steadily growing ever since to 10 restaurants across Greater London.
Comptoir is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner – and all that’s in between. From hot and cold mezze – perfectly sized for sharing- grills, wraps, salads, tagines; there’s a lot of choice that creates a delicious Lebanese spread. A lot of our food is vegetarian and additional nutritional information can be found on our menu page here. For something sweeter, nothing is more authentic than the taste of baklawa – Lebanese pastries in a variety of flavours such as date filled semolina and walnut filled flaky pastry. Enjoyed best with our signature, healthy blend of fresh rose water, mint and green tea.
