What a great little Cafe. Owner was from Sardinia. A great choice of food, and the taste...... We ordered 2 Croissants, one with Tuna and Mayonnaise, the other with Smoked Salmon and Cottage Cheese ........ Really Beautiful. We both had Cappuccinos and I had a Canoli. Can't wait to go back. Well worth a visit.

Wife and I thought we had dropped into an episode of Fawlty Towers, although the bistro was small the owner didn't seem to remember who had ordered a slice of cake and the one of the waitresses couldn't remember who had ordered a coffee. Portions rather on the small side, I did enjoy my meal, vegetarian gnocchi, my wife wasn't to so keen on what she had. Can get rather busy and a little cramped, children welcomed and as I hinted the owner will cater for vegetarians. Did like the owners catch phases, lovely jubbly and okey dokey, but he was very friendly and helpful.

A Fab cafe on Backstreet. We had garlic mushroom bruschetta, coffees and delish sweet pastries. A must visit if your visiting Hexham. We will be back most definitely.
