This was a welcome find for us on the road from Ashford back to Hastings as we'd been seriously looking for a coffee. After parking in the large off-road car park we were made to feel very welcome by the two ladies in this beautifully presented, neat and clean Cafe/Shop. We took advantage of a promotion whereby you could combine a coffee with a bap for a discount. Both were excellent, and the discount was generous enough to make it very affordable. The shop was packed with an amazing array of fresh farm produce along with other locally produced products. Mercifully for the traveller, there is a toilet on the outside of the cafe.
'Garden Gems' does exactly what it says on the tin - it delivers in so many ways and if you can't find a particular plant anywhere then you'll likely find it here! Quality plants, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, well laid out and keen prices too! If you want a well-run garden centre then take a trip to just outside of Rye on the Romney Marsh side of town ...... oh, and make sure you have a large car-boot to put all of those plants in!
Charming busy farm shop and tea rooms. Perfect on our way back from a yomp at Camber. Holiday makers were grabbing provisions and I like the look of the garden centre adjacent.
Excellent farm shop.who needs the bigger stores Friendly service. Great staff Very good local products. You need a car to visit the farm shop. I am very happy with farm and surroundings.
we stopped here for a cup of tea on our way home from rye and gave been going back ever since the staff are very friendly the tea is made fresh and the scones are top notch it's a dog friendly cafe with a seating area outside where your order is delivered
Wonderful farm shop and cafe, even on a wet and windy autumn day. The staff were so sweet and helpful. Fabulous coffee and cake. A really welcome break on a long journey. Will happily come back next time we're passing. Thanks :
Lovely little place and there festive sausage roll are absolutely amazing
It's good to support local businesses. If you looking for the "hardware" of gardening , tools, silly signs and gizmos this is the place with a wide choice . For the serious gardener the plant range is very limited and at least 20% more expensive than other local garden centres. Nice cafe as part of the group of businesses there
Lovely little garden centre good prices Nice cafe and farm shop also
The nicest place to get things! The ladies here are just wonderful, the produce is lovely, you can buy just 1 or 2 of things as you need it, it's most handy! I love it for when I'm camping in Camber; pop up and grab a couple of chicken breasts, a couple of veg items, and tah dah! Dinner!
