This to me seems to be neither a proper restaurant nor a proper cafe, the please wait to be seated sign is a little off putting for a tourist lunch venue. In my opinion the standard self service cafe format would have been more appropriate. The small Espresso bar closes mid afternoon so tea there at 3 is not an option. I visited on a weekday so things may be better at weekends?

Salts diner is great. Contemporary dining with a hint of cafe. The menu is varies and the food is well cooked and served. There are gluten free options also. Set in the old mill you still get that old mill/museum/gallery type of feel as you dine. I always enjoy stopping here for lunch.

Lovely food and cakes. Really cool atmosphere, very friendly and nice place to visit.
