The Saltaire Boat Trips boat is moored at the canal at the junction of: the bridge from Victoria Street, the entrance to the Saltaire sports club, the entrance to the pub, the carpark for the NHS building, and the bridge to go into Roberts Park. The boat trips run every day in the summer I believe and weekends in the spring. It costs 4 quid to go on the boat trip per person. The trip goes up one stretch of the canal and then comes back. The trip takes about 30 minutes. One of the guys who runs the trips, Tony, is absolutely lovely. The trips usually run every 45 minutes to an hour. If the boat is out on a trip, there's a sign with a clock that will tell you when the next trip will be. Please do not let your kids touch the hands on the clock on the sign!!!
