Another one on the list that I've wanted to visit for a long time having heard only good things about the place. One word needed to describe the place - exceptional. Staff are super friendly, tasteful decoration complimented with a soundtrack to suit. Food was delicious, so much choice and plenty of vegetarian options available. All dishes were well presented. Attention to detail, from staff that evidently have passion for what they serve. Cannot recommend this place enough. I will definitely be back soon.
Amazing food, they really know their stuff! The depth of flavours in the udon was magical. Everything was very fresh and cooked to perfection. Menu items were inventive and delivered on taste and flavour. Service was impeccable and prices reasonable.nnWill definitely be back!
During my first visit to Salt Hamilton, the Asian menu seemed appealing and I must say that both the menu and the interior decor lived up to expectations. We ordered miso broth soup, sushi, and Katsu curry with a Scottish haggis twist, accompanied by a side order of beer cheese fries. The unique combination of Japanese and Scottish street food was high quality and fresh. We look forward to returning soon.
We visited Salt for my birthday at the weekend which was our second time visiting. Both visits have been amazing. The food is absolutely delicious, we normally go into Glasgow for our favourite Japanese dishes but will now prioritise Salt in Hamilton!nThe service is good, very friendly staff. The food comes out pretty quick & is delicious.nIf you’re a fan of sushi you must try the crispy rice nigiri with spicy tuna.nWe’ll definitely be returning.
Have been meaning to try this place for a while now, staff are really nice and friendly, couldn’t fault the service. The atmosphere inside is great, a few cherry blossom trees indoor around some kind of the tables.nnThe food is nice really enjoyed the dirty fries, cheese burger spring rolls, corn ribs, katsu curry however it felt a bit heavy handed on the salt side of things - which is ironic given the name of the restaurant.nnThe chicken and beef is halal at time of writing but always best to double check before ordering.
