Great atmosphere and really good tuition. Dancing New York on 1, great music. Usually there’s 1-2 sequences to learn, with plenty of time and partners to practice with. Steph & Roy make learning fun and there’s plenty of banter. Social dancing follows and everyone is encouraged to dance with different partners throughout. There’s also a couple of line dances you can learn online that the group do regularly. Beginners are taught separately, as is normal. The standard of teaching is excellent and beginners move to the main group after a few lessons, able to lead or follow to a higher standard than I’ve seen in any other classes. The club has close links with other classes in the area and I also strongly recommend joining one of their parties, where the groups join together for a larger event with more of a social focus.
Steph and Roy make learning salsa easy and fun. A great way to meet new friends on a Tuesday night in a relaxed atmosphere. Been going for over 2 years now and still enjoy every minute. The new Sunday Soiree's give everyone a chance to mix, mingle and practice their salsa.
Steph and Roy have a friendly and expert approach to dancers of all abilities at the Tuesday evening classes which are fun-filled and great value. Monthly socials offer the chance to meet new people drawn from a wide area, to chat over supper and mix on the dance floor. Rapidly expanding membership tells its own story!
Have to agree with Mike, for a friendly atmosphere and a great venue come along to Brumby Hall and make a start with Salsa, it's great fun to learn.
The best place to learn salsa!
