I reached here at 1:10 with a letter from doctor who asked me to visit A&E and get ECG & chest X-Ray done.. The time is 18:25 when I’m writing this review… Until now only my ECG & Blood has been taken. When I went to check on how long will it take so the lady at Reception Rudely replied it’s less wait time today somedays its even 9 hours of waiting.. so you just have to wait. You can wait for more half an hour… Even the half an hour more she told me has passed but no one called for me..nImagine someone with extreme chest pain & asthma has to wait this long & this is the kind of response you get from this so called hard working staff…nThese people aren’t even bothered to look at the feedback people have been giving them about their lame service.nnSuch horrible experience
I had to go for 2X rays and a scan. My times were 10.30 and 12 15 I arrived at 10.00 after 15 mins I was taken through. They explained what was going to happen and checked I was the right person. I then had about 6 X rays taken.nGreat staff. treated with care and passion and quickly out and on my way to have my scans.nAt the scan building I was quickly seen and gave all my details then told to sit in the waiting room to be called. I was called in 20 mins early and 30 mins later I was home.nSo quickly in and out and treated with care and kindness throughout. By Super Staff at the Royal.
Came in dizzy and unable to walk with chest pain and a pounding heartbeat. Had to wait 11 hours overnight not getting any sleep. Then they told me I would have to wait another 2-3 hours so I left.
When Googling the nearest A&E for a minor injury last night, I ended up at this one. I wouldn't normally review a hospital visit, but I'd noticed it had a poor star rating which probably doesn't do much for staff morale here. I guess you'd only write something if you were unhappy, and the positives go unnoticed. So, I just want to leave 5 stars because everybody I encountered from reception to discharge was super friendly, helpful and efficient, and I'm very grateful for their hard work. In and out within 2.5 hours :
Came to this hospital about 9.30 pm it's now 04.30am still waiting to see a doctor came as I put my back out and could not walk last time I came here a few months ago same reason ender up stay in for a week operation on my lower back can't believe it nearly empty and am still waiting
