If I could add a zero stars I would. Dr Asher discharged me from a section 2 after only a week, attempted to discharge me after only 4 days. Even though I was highly and actively suicidal and I was not safe. My next of kin and partner were both telling the doctor I would attempt again and they could not keep me safe. She does not listen to your thoughts, or concerns. I ended up back on a section 2 after only a week because I was not safe from myself. She judges everyone instantly for having EUPD, and if you do have this diagnosis your other diagnoses will get ignored. She calls everyone with EUPD an attention seeker, revolving door patient and unhelpable. Do not reccomend staying here if you can at all help it. It should be reviewed instantly and Dr Asher in my opinion should be struck off. She does not have her patients safety and best interests at heart. The care assistants are generally lovely and helpful. Nursing staff are 50/50, some are great, others not.
Absolutely disgusting place and staff, my fathers currently in here and he said the staff are arrogant and uncaring and there are people trying to sell class A drugs to him and asking him to go on runs to collect them to bring them into the facility!! I will be writing into the papers and mayor of the town today and reporting this to get this matters sorted!! The place needs condemning as well as the staff!! This is a disgrace of a system and shouldn't be happening a tall!! Patients aren't being looked after as they should be due to staff just letting the place run its self!! If use read this just know I'm coming for use in legal ways and use will !! Be accountable for this bizarre lack of care for people who really need to be looked after and are coming out worse or getting worse whilst in your care!!!!
Would give it zero stars if I could.Nurse/deputy manager on Eagleton got me arrested on the 25th for section 18 assault and Dr Kamal discharged me which I found out at the police station off the sarge. Discharging me when he knew I was hearing voices really bad telling me the staff were going to kill me and since being out I have overdosed and cut my face bad. They starved me for 4 days, not even asking me if I wanted any food. Was too scared to leave my room so I peed in the sink and the police know what they have done and I really can’t wait to go to the police station next week to answer my bail as I know as well as the police I’m definitely not going to be charged for the so called section 18 and I have sent a report to the CQC and they have got back to me and I know they will contact the police as well.
I sometimes take reviews with a pinch of salt but, I must say, I was appalled at the consistent low ratings this place has attained. My Son’s only been there a few days, I must admit i’ve experienced similar things, ie: putting phone down on you, can’t understand half of what some of the staff are saying and they don’t seem to have clue about the patients. So the juries still out as far as i’m concerned. I’ll just monitor the situation for the moment and see if they merit an increase in my initial rating.!
I stayed here. 10 weeks so far and they had already decided on my medication change from tablets to injection with a directive before even talking to me about it. After exposing errors to cqc all the staff are super responsive, . I just think that you have to cause a fuss to get your point across sometimes , you have to connect or approach them yourself. The advocate Lisa White, who did not advocate for me but sided with the crowd and psychiatrist oppressing me, counselling me to accept the decision by the doctor because she says its best for me, whilst not taking heed of any of what I say, telling me she has children like me to gain trust, but staying silent or opposing me when I ask for support and a vouch, she didn't even say advocates can't speak in tribunals but simply kept quiet and allowed me into being misled to think she would support me. The local psychiatrist, I'm not against foreign people as long as they have a conscience, who listened to me personably was either sent away or I was made so that I could not speak to him in my subsequent ward rounds after he listened to me on a personal level and could understand where I was coming from and what I had done. I was left with the ignorance of psychiatrists Kamil who would ask me routine questions and deny my requests, suggest increased dosage against my will and asked me if I was a prophet whilst being detained. After he suddenly left Ali filled his position and subsequently carried out an order to inject me without my consent, mis-treatment by the one called Ali, he lied in my tribunal then was silent because God delivers justice. God hears whether they say to take notes or rot. God does not clear the guilty, recorded by Moses. whether Ali nor any other foreign gods will not win against Christian faith the God of Israel. My mis-treatment was resolved thanks to God, a tribunal was carried, the Glory should be given to God for what is True and all the rest according to his Word. Not the lies of anyone who speaks of God but tells anyone to practice differently to the Word of teaching of God written in the Bible
