When I looked for St. Paul's the Apostle’s Catholic Church on Google Maps recently, I was confused as Street View showed GHA flats in photo, where old Whiteinch Neighborhood Centre and old St. Paul's Primary School used to be in the 1940's and 1950's.Should show the front of actual St. Paul's Parish Church, which was originally on Google Maps, why was it changed? Now a few days later it's back on Google Maps with actual photos of St. Paul's Parish Church again.
This review is for the chapel hall which is great sized hall for a family party with the bar in the same room. Bobby Mac Disco
I used to go to St. Paul's Primary school at Primrose Street back in the 1970's, when a Miss. Renfrew was their Headmistress. She had a brother who was Bishop Renfrew! I had my First Communion and also my Confirmation at St. Paul's Parish Church when Canon Hart, a Father Divine and earlier priests were there in the late 1970's, early 1980's! Years later I used to help out doing their church collections with other men including a Des, and John. I also helped a Fred Shaw who ran their SVDP - St. Vincent De Paul, to collect money that went to the charity. Since then I haven't been to St. Paul's in years and now I don't know any of the new priests who are there today. I miss going there as my mum used to take me to Mass, either every Sunday morning or at night, for their mass or as others call them, church services. Sometimes we would go on a Saturday night too! I miss my time going to this old Parish.
My local parish church ,Father Andrew is quite an inspirational preacher and warm and generous Priest
