Always like Sainsbury's with it's price match. Pharmacy and phlebotomy service. Great staff. Though I thing the phlebotomy service could do with putting in a different area to the pharmacy as it creates a bottle neck with the amounts of people awaiting for both. Good cafe great clothes selection and Argos ...
Nice big store I call there after I have been to pay respects at Ghyll cemetery to my parents before I embark on my journey home. It's very clean and well set out and I usually go early so there's not many about . Nice big Tu clothes area. Habitat area and the cafe is average for a supermarket. All in top marks for being the cleanest well lit Sainsbury's I've been in.
Hadn't been to Sainsbury's Colne for a long time. It was fairly quiet, Thursday afternoon, there a reasonable selection goods, even tomatoes. The gentleman on the till was very friendly and efficient
Disappointed after spending over £170 i didn't get the £15 discount offered via email due to having to visit the Sainsbury store. Only did this as a last resort after being unable to get an online shop space, not realising your offer was for an online shop only. Obviously I didn't read the offer properly as I'm used to having either option with the paper vouchers you used to send out.
The range of stock is very good, the staff are generally good - but - the price displayed is often not the price you will be charged and this must be watched. When trying to get a refund of 45p overcharge I luckily noticed the young man had added £6.74 to my bill so obviously he needs watching too. Provided you can keep your wits about you it's not a bad shop these days.
We chose to do our weekly shop at Sainsbury's in Colne for a change to the usual and was pleasantly surprised with the choices and prices of things and how many staff were walking around and filling shelves. This changed completely when it came to check out when with a loaded trolley we found not a single checkout open and self checkout as the only option. We asked customer sevices if they could open a till as there were other customers in the same situation but was quite bluntly told it wasn't worth their time opening a checkout even though the place was brimming with staff. We spent the next 40 minutes at the self checkout with an overflowing packing area and lots of red lights in what was a truly ridiculous situation. I know this seems to becoming representative at a lot of supermarkets but it is a truly awful idea and staff morale seems very low and this is when the attitude of not being bothered comes out and really makes you not want to go back to such places. There were 5 members of staff just stood around the self checkout area flashing their id every time someone's light started flashing red which was quite common given most of us were trying to empty trolleys and shopping was falling out of the full packing areas. Common sense would say lets open a till and get the people with full trolleys through there but there was none of this just the constant tutting of staff every time another red light started to flash. 8 out 10 for the shopping experience, 0 out 10 for not having a single working toilet, 1 out of 10 for making folk with full trolleys go through self checkout, 9 out of 10 for the number of staff working but 1 out of 10 for attitude and lack of any customer service. They say a business is built on it's staff and customer service. Well today there was lots of staff, lots of attitude and a very bad experience which we will not be repeating in future
The Aldi price match fresh produce I bought wasn't up to Sainsbury's usual standard . Might have been unlucky, will try again . Its a very pleasant store, although my internet goes off in there , hence haven't tried the new shopping system
Good store but the check outs need sorting out. Yesterday, Saturday 11.30 one open out of four in total. Result self service tills overrun with trollies and the authorising staff were overworked and stressed.. Time Sainsburys started to value their customers and realise not everyone wants self service. Buck up before your customers go elsewhere.
I did like this store while out and about. Great layout. Super views over Pendle. Parking easy. Everything there plus more choice. I will go againwhen over that way.
Large, clean, and well stocked, with a diverse range of products. All staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful, and the sheltered car park is an added bonus.
