Shopped here for 20+ years, but no more. I use the self scan so I can tally up my shopping. Three shops in a row, selected for a basket check. Not too fussed, as I have nothing to hide, but each time this has happened, the staff have been so inefficient, taking so long to actually assist and then not having the initiative to check you don't have any items that need to be approved that on this last occasion I spotted that from the time of taking the photo to the time on the payment receipt 9 minutes had passed. So that's coming up to over 25 minutes wasted from just 3 shops, feels like I should be able to bill them my hourly rate for wasting my time. Customer service insist it is "completely random" but of the 5 times ! this has happened this year, not once has it happened when I am in a work suit. The same technology that is used to transfer the basket to the tills could easily be used to flag a check by security staff. So, not risking it further, donated my nectar points to a charity, cut up the card, and won't be returning. Will likely save me a fortune.
Sometimes well stocked but not always.find the staff very unhelpful and just look miserable all the time .no smile especially the ones on customer service desk.having said that there was one lady on self service. Who was friendly and chatty
I was at the store yesterday and asked Linda on the wine aisle for help. She was amazing, great product knowledge and a really friendly approach. The best customer service that I've had in a very long time. Thank you Linda.
As expected. Well stocked clean neat good toilet cafe upstairs with lift access lots of clothes Has Argos too
The customer service of not only this store but every other large Sainsbury's store I have visited is diabolical. This angers me somewhat as Sainsbury's had a very good name for itself and I find that most of the products are superior to the average supermarket. Unfortunately the lack of care towards their customers puts this chain below even the budget supermarkets in my mind.
For such a large company who claim excellence in customer service. It falls hugely short. I've had several issues using this store. Both in store and groceries delivery. They employ staff who are abusive, rude and lazy. Order shopping to be delivered and it won't turn up as colleagues are lazy and can't be bothered to get out of their van to located a property through a gate. Ring to re-arrange and you are unable to. No slots available. Unless you go to the app and there are slots available! Which is very odd, as looking at the app at the same time there are slots available. When they create a issue or a colleague does they don't do anything constructive to fix the issues created by their staff. That's the most infuriating outcome. All they will do is offer their sincere apologies! So they know what has happened is wrong and the customer has received a terrible serive but they are unwilling to do anything about it! That sums sainsburys up!
It is advisable not to purchase kids toys from this store, as they are not reliable and sell defective products. I purchased three toys last night, two remote control cars £15 and a Star Wars Lightsaber £16 However, they were all faulty. Today, I received my refund. There is no trustworthiness in them, it seems the products on their shelves are sourced from cheap vendors.
Just another Sainsbury's. Nothing stands out, nothing drags it down. Has a filling station and a quite awkward car park. And they do like their self service checkouts.
Got ecoli shigella on Thursday from infected salmon.. This is transmitted by food that has been exposed to human feces.. got it 5.5 months ago from the same store but thought ill give the benefit of the doubt as a possible one off as I have shopped here for 20 years .. This time I had it tested..which filthy animals are packing the food and not washing hands let me guess?? Zero rated hygiene.. Besides this I have noticed all the high standards that drew me to shop here are diminishing.. and have been for around 18 mths… Goodbye Sainsbury’s..And good riddance…xx ABSOLUTELY NO stars but had to put one to complete!!
Great parking full range super market. Good offers beating b&m on some.
