Stopped by as I was passing and didn't realise the Sainsbury's had a Costa coffee. Staff were very friendly and helped me download the app to gain points stars. Regular Coffee and a croissant sandwich cost around 9 pounds. The table I chose and the ones surrounding it hadn't been cleared but I assumed it was because one person was behind the counter. My table wasn't cleared and I was sat there 55 minutes. Still a lovely place to stop.
Customer service poor. No helpful at store. As a new customer to this store, We request some information from the customer service assistant. But she was unable to help us. It's not a good experience, really.
One of the standout aspects of Sainsbury’s is the quality of their fresh produce and bakery sections. Fruits and vegetables are typically fresh and well-stocked, while the bakery offers a tempting array of breads, pastries, and cakes. The in-store deli and meat counters are also commendable, providing a good selection of fresh, high-quality options. The staff at Sainsbury’s are generally helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with finding products or answering questions. The checkout process is usually efficient, with both self-service and staffed lanes available. Overall, Sainsbury’s is a dependable supermarket that strikes a good balance between quality, variety, and value. Whether you're doing a big weekly shop or just picking up a few items, Sainsbury’s is a solid choice.
A very modern Sainsbury’s. Inside it’s kinda futuristic. All the price labels are mini-LCD screens that update dynamically. There’s a Starbucks inside and a free car park.
The refurb is nice but the aisles are so thin now, barely enough room for two people to pass by, further a nightmare with all the online shoppers. Makes it a bit of a fight to get around during busy periods.
Revamped store design creates a relaxed and enjoyable shopping experience. Layout, decor, signage combined with a broad product offer and ample parking remove the angst from shopping.
Excellent store with a huge choice of the ranges available. In store Argos and women’s clothes sections. I could spend hours in here and recently refurbished to a high standard. Love the Sainsbury brand in food and clothing
The self service tills let this store down so much. The scanning took well over double the time it could have done with multiple weighing errors, standing around like lemons waiting for staff no blame or negativity on the staff here, and just awful bright white lighting making everyone look like vampire ghouls on the camera footage. Please bring back staffed tills.
Good quality food.. However, hundreds of staff on the shop floor floating around but decide to only open up one till. Where's the human interaction these, days? Had £150 worth of shopping at the self service. You can imagine the flap I was in trying to fit all that food in the bagging area.. A laugh for the customers queing behind, I wasn't amused! Thanks Sainsburys, I will carry on shopping at Aldi X
We have shopped at Sainsbury’s in Witney for years but recent store refurbishments, particular lack of checkout staff and click and collect experience this morning makes me very loath to shop there again. Yesterday I placed a C&C order for 08:00 pickup. When I arrived at the store I was told that my card had been rejected and to phone customer services. After holding for 15 minutes I went to the Click and Collect door to see if I could checkout my order in store. I was accosted by the very rude manager of the C&C and first told to get out of the store my feet were no more than 150cm over the threshold and no I couldn’t check out my order in store. Not surprisingly I politely said I’d leave the order, where upon the door was loudly slammed behind me. Sorry Sainsbury’s this isn’t good enough - I hope your staff had fun putting the items back in store. You won’t be seeing me again soon!
