Most men travel for the objective. I travel for the ups and the downs, the highs and the lows, the wax and the wane. This Herculean petrol refueling station had offered me with all the necessary odds and ends for my long, draining, yet fulfilling journey. Though the vendor was shrewd in manner, he was kind hearted in wits. I purchased a cushioning feast consisting of a Ham Sandwich and a Red Oasis for the puny price of THREE copper tokens. Overall, a mighty visit and a more than satisfactory destination.
I may look like one to give only 1 star reviews, one that has a terrible taste, looking only to destroy the reputation of all companies. But this. This just isn't true. I've been through the thick and the thin. Through hell and more, and this petroleum. This heavenly petroleum. Has been with me the entire time. I'll give you a story. It was a fine winters morning. And my car was seemingly not working. The engine just would not start. I imagined this was because of the tree sized dent on the bonnet, but I'm not much a mechanic so truly I didn't know. I searched and searched. Trying to find another car to use or even an engine to switch out. But god. God gifted to me a can. A bottle. A cup. Of Sainsbury's petrol station petroleum. I gingerly poured into the engine. My heart racing. I turned the key, and the engine. The engine revved up and I got to work. On time. Thank you Sainsbury's petrol station. #Thanks4Petroleum
I feel lucky that this is my local supermarket. It has the most produce I could hope for, including a good range of fresh organic veg, meat and dried/canned goods. Also a great range of home ware, setting all our pots, pans, oven trays there. Pharmacy in the middle. The clothes on the right though never in my small size, or style. Not used the upstairs restaurant, but often seems quite busy.
I am so overwhelmed by the kindness shown by the customer service manager at Sainsbury's in Dunchurch,Rugby. Lee went above and beyond by dropping my little lads snuggle bear home to him after he had finished work. My four year old left it in the trolley and he kindly drove the bear home to us. Thank you so very very much. My son will sleep well tonight due to your kindness. This really is exceptional kindness.
Good location and service. "Pay at the pump" option is very handy and allows you to use your nectar card. There is free air and water dispenser available together with reasonably priced vacum cleaner and drive-through car wash. Remember to take your Saintsbury vouchers when visiting.
Can be very busy at times but always enough staff to cope with it, and you can also pay by card at all the pumps. The shop has most things if you run out of essential items, a Costa Coffee machine is a most welcome addition. Never used the car wash but it's always popular, water and tyre inflation is free, very good vacuum cleaner.
I love this place! nice wide aisles, everything is in stock and easy to find. The staff are always friendly and happy to help. Trolleys and baskets are always available and clean.
It's a supermarket...not much else to say really. It's easier to park if you avoid Saturdays, lunch times and bank holidays, which is common sense stuff really. It's a medium/large sized supermarket with cafe, pharmacy, bureau de change, and cobblers/key cutter shop.
Cheapest petroleum I’ve bought in two years, under £1.20 per litre. You can pay at the pump or in store. Loads of queues for some pumps but i found one that was vacant, no idea why others didn’t use it, felt like queue jumping.
Be aware Sainsbury now has facial recognition camera's in the advertising board at the entrance, operated by clear channel a third party advertising company, sainsbury say it is turned off at the moment but when will this start to use your image without permission, a major privacy issue is a concern..
