Generally easy to access except at school handover times. Is normally slightly more expensive than Tesco round the corner but does cater slightly better for the healthy water and vegetarian.

Impractical mid-afternoon, impossible to park. Theres 4 people in the shop today when I visited just before 15.00 but yet again, not a single parking spot. Place gets used as a school car park and they do nothing to stop it, so actual customers can't park. Some items like soft drinks seem twice as expensive as Tesco over the road, various stock ranges also seem more limited. They do have a better selection of stationery items (Exclusive of greetings cards), such as Sellotape/packing paper etc that are actually cheaper than Tesco. Staff are polite, auto-terminals seem to function more reliably than those over the road, good little selection of wine etc, bit more expensive/less extensive than opposite. There is often litter by the benches at the pedestrian entrance left by people in the evenings and bags dumped by overfull charity collection points outside but inside the shop is clean and modern. NB: The cashpoint outside refuses to read one of our cards but the other machines in the village read it fine. Not sure why (maybe it reads the magnet not the chip?), but the issue seems unique to Sainsbury's cashpoint. It gives that card back but wont work, yet does with others.
