Don't get me wrong, I rarely have problems with this Location but recently I've been getting rather frustrated with whoever stocks the loaves of bread, most of the packaging is either ripped has holes in or nearly ripped where the packaging has been pulled or tugged, causing weakness that eventually turns into holes and ruins the freshness of the product, for example their own brand white bread and the hovis thick soft white bread that I buy, if this is not resolved I may have to find somewhere else to buy from as this is having an effect in the quality of the product I as the customer purchase on a weekly basis. I've seen this issue for months now but it seems to be getting increasingly worse and seems to show sheer carelessness from the staff stocking this area in particular. The pictures below are 1 example of this. Yes you could try to blame this on customers, but when it's the same thing week in week out, and it's on the scale I keep finding it, it's hard to place blame on anyone other than the workers, as I have not seen this issue in any other supermarkets.
I visited this store a few days ago to collect my c & c order. The lady assisting was very quick and efficient when dealing with me, she had my order within seconds of giving her the details. Amy was friendly.
I am very satisfied with the services and help by the name I believe is Iqra. I ordered several things for reservation and ordered over 10 items as I’m moving house. I wasn’t able to pick it up by the date that was given for collection so she extended it for longer which was helpful. I appreciate her time, patience and effort! great customer skills.
Terrible experience with Venna, regarding customer service. I asked where a product might be located, to which her reply was “we’ll have you not looked in the cheese section” Obviously not Venna or I would not ask you? Then she marched me to the find the product but then proceeded roll her eyes at, while huffing & puffing like she wanted to blow the store down as reported to the manager. Not my normal experience in this store.
Lovely staff, but not enough of them! Mostly self-checkout now. And why hasn't the heating been on in Kempston store for over a month?! It's freezing in there, no difference between the outside temperature and that in store. Sort it out, Sainsbury's, your staff and customers deserve better!
