In general a good supermarket. I probably use the store daily and have had no complaints. Sometimes, even in the early mornings it is a bit chaotic with the order pickers literally running around so you have to have your wits about you .Toilets often closed off when store first opens, surely one toilet could be kept open while the others are cleaned , or clean them so they're ready for when the store opens as people on the way to work early morning to get their meal deal may still need to use the toilet, just an idea. Overall a good place to shop.
Extremely busy at Redhill last weekend but I just want to commend a young lady called Charlotte who was working on self checkout last Saturday afternoon who had a line of customers needing support. I need special assistance due to my disabilities and she took the time to help me and made the whole stressful experience so much more manageable. Please pass on a big thank you to her. You’re very lucky to have her on your team!
Elderly asian woman at checkout is very rude and keeps checking bags and receipts based on what people are wearing with no rationale other than discrimination.nnDoesn’t happen in smart clothes but 3rd time this month she’s approached me after finishing gym for wearing a hoody.nnI’ve heard others have the same issue. Will change supermarket if this keeps up.
Experienced a very unhelpful male member of staff at customer service. He totally ignored me and when I asked if he could help he said no you are in the wrong queue, it would not have taken any effort on his part to let me know he was not serving customers at that time rather than just ignore me for a good five minutes.
Becoming more frustrated lately with sainsburys Redhill grocery home delivery service. Seem to be late quite often lately and the van driver rarely rings. Last night arrived after 7pm for a 1730-1830 slot. No call. The standard of products is getting worse to. Quite often I am have to claim refunds for poor quality or damaged fruit and veg. The service was brilliant a few years ago. See photo for items delivered last week
