Saturday 25th October about 6.15pm Penwortham local shop, Birch avenue, I stood for ages waiting for someone to help me. A young girl, hair tied back, came eventually, I asked her where do I collect an Argos order, I got a vague direction, she wouldn't show me or move from where she was standing, she was rude, had as couldn't care less attitude. She insulted me and as I'm an older lady, just had a knee operation left standing there, its shameful to be treated this way, horrible service. Fiona Ireland the store manager please reply to this message. I can't really describe how bad it all was.
Only called in for a couple of items. But there was no one on the tills and only option being to scan my order and pay by card. I am an OAP and are never sure about this type of payment. Otherwise a very nice shop with goods where you would expect.
Very clean. Has limited stock but most essential items are here to purchase
Good friendly staff but you never know if they have what you want. Sometimes they have sometimes not
Clean store, plenty of choice, good special offers. Avoid visiting at the end of a school day as it seems to be a popular after school choice for the local high school, saying that, despite the large numbers of pupils 'hanging around' they are always polite, well mannered and not intimidating nor rude.
