Absolutely fine, friendly staff serving people as well as they can. Well stocked and clean.nnArgos inside as is the norm now.nnNo hot food to go sadly but still a good choice of meal deals.nnBakery full of choice too.nnBe aware the car park is pay and display and you only get 30 mins free. Failing that its a reasonable £2.nnThis is owing to the town centre location and the abuse of the car park despite there being large car parks nearby for other town centre visitors.

I have been shopping in Sainsbury’s all over the UK for years.  Fresh and good quality products.  However, I find the staff in the local store very unpleasant.  I once tried to get the attention of a member of staff by touching her back gently, because I had problems with the self scanner.  She was furious and wrongly accused me of “poking” her in the back.  I apologised, but she kept going on and on and making a song and dance about it.  She went and complained to the “so-called” manager.  When I spoke to the manager to explain what happened,  he was not interested he told me not to come again. How unprofessional!

Posting photos of parking sign/rules here just so everyone knows.  Note that the maximum stay is 2 hours even paid.

I'm not visited this door for years. The store looks a little bit old but the stuff were very friendly and helpful. The biggest drawback is the car park. You have to pay and display when you arrive. Talking is refundable at the sister but no good if you've already left the store

Argos in Burton Upon Trent has now moved into Sainsbury's which is much better for parking.nWhen I went, first 30 mins free parking. Free parking for 2 hours after 3pm, I was told this information by Argos staff!  Best check.nThe only issue I can see with Argos being inside Sainsbury's is that because there is less storage you might have to wait until the next day to collect larger items?nThey obviously had the air con cranked up to its highest, it was lovely for the couple of mins I was in there, if your doing a full shop you might want your cardi?
