Its fine. The fruit and vegetables are usually fresh and plenty of choice. Sadly they got rid of their fresh counters but they still have a decent selection of meat and fish. Good selection overall as its not a huge shop.

I've been a customer of numerous sainsbury's stores across the UK and I have to review this one because I've had such lovely service and customer care here in Sherborne. It's a stand out. Dan, one of the managers seems to be there almost every time I shop and he supports his team really well. I feel like I'm at home when I'm in this store. It's well stocked and organised and all the staff have always made me feel welcome and supported as I shop, directing and advising me well. I really like this sore and go back mostly because I feel so comfortable as a customer.

I can’t say very much that is good about this place. Foremost - it’s filthy, the shelves, checkouts & baskets are disgusting. You can never find staff inside. The self checkout is always backed up. The prices on the shelves are not what you pay at the till, I have had to go back in several times with my receipt to be honoured their prices as advertised. The Argos collect system is very very slow. Hate shopping here.

Popped in on Saturday as usual.where are all the manned tills. 14 self service and 4 manned but only one manned at that time  which made me late and forgot to use nectar card so willngo in on Saturday so they can give me my points and a refund on the goods purchased were on a nectar offer! Won't be going in there much now. What ever happened to customer service?

I popped in for some milk and left empty handed. This was due to their being one checkout manned. The other tills were self serve. This I will not do. Sainsbury's pay me nothing to ring up my own shopping yet there are always 2 staff watching the self serve tills, I assume to deter theft. So Sainsbury's must not trust the free labour their customers provide. That's fine by me, as all the shops I regularly use provide checkout service. When all of us refuse to work for free the checkout staff will return. Until then I shall shop elsewhere.
