I went to Dorking Sainsnurys to do last min Xmas shopping, however I was en route to my radiotherapy appointment at Portsmouth & has forgotten my Nectar card. The difference in the 2 tier pricing is astronomical so I asked staff in store what to do. One said I could get a new Nectar card at checkout. However when I got there another customer said I could borrow her card. The girl at the checkout overheard this and said ‘absolutely no way’. I explained I’d forgotten my card & had to get to my appointment for cancer treatment & was again told ‘no’. I called up & spoke to Jade the manager & was told this is policy, even given the circumstances at Christmas. Zero apologies. I cannot understand the mentality of heartless robotic staff who really do not care about genuinely helping a customer in need at Christmas. I left my shopping behind & I will never shop at sainsbirys again. These people are ruthless
Staff are very good and love to help you very polite and courteous
Supermarket with large carpark at the back and main shopping street at the front. Elevator into the shop from the carpark. Supermarket has tills at both front and rear of the shop. Lots of different products for sale. Some items are cheaper with an in-store card. Definitely worth using. Makes a big difference in a large shop.
Good small/medium Sainsbury's. Mostly have everything we need. A little tired in appearance internally but not really an issue. Staff mostly friendly on the whole from the many visits I've had better than the Waitrose staff at least
Not a massive Sainsbury’s but had everything I needed and staff was good enough
