Great to shop here as its always accessible, the car park is plentiful so never had any issues with finding a space. On my recent visits the store has been well stocked and clean. The staff always seem happy in their job and helpful when I can't locate something.
Disappointing and constantly going downhill. They've been having stock issues for years now and somehow still can't figure things out. Fruit is often gone by midday and when it's not sold out, it's poor quality. Water is also often sold out. The veggie scales are displaying an error or out of paper 9 times out of 10. Staff seemingly don't notice that all 3 scales are out of use. When I asked staff, several of them came and had a look and somehow still couldn't get any of the scales to work. The lack of cleaning is also an issue, the fridges have mould and grime that never get cleaned. In comparison to other supermarkets, it's severely lacking - no deli, no fish counter, the bakery is pretty awful, the pizza counter even worse. They have water leaking from the ceiling every time it rains, it's been happening for years and they still don't do anything. At this point I only shop here because it's the closest and most convenient, but it's a frustrating experience every time.
Come here every week and usually don't have any problems, sometimes their shelves can be empty of certain items which can be rather frustrating and they don't always have fresh fruit and vegetables available later on in the day. They also change the layout and move things around the store randomly which is a further frustration.
Would give 0 if I could. Had a staff member called Matt become aggressive and unprofessional at the self check out. He is an employee by the way. Tells me to move when I asked for help. I move and he starts becoming rude and aggressive. Refusing to serve me saying I’m being rude when I wasn’t. All I did was ask for help. He then was refusing to give me service and provide me with a manager. Never have I ever been treated like this after a long shift a work. I wouldn’t use this store, due to the staff. It’s a convenient store with problems with customer service. So disappointed. Guy was clearly just on one this night. I feel sorry for anyone who he has done this too before. Sorry for the review to all the store but when this behaviour is tolerated it will keep happening.
Our local supermarket that we use to go to almost daily. The lack of staffing on the self checkouts is beyond farcical. Often only one staff member during peak times dealing with both sets of self service tills. Customers getting more and more irate waiting. They even have to do the self scanning checks as well, which can hold up the sole staff member for 5 minutes or so.nnHave started going to Aldi and Asda. Always 2 or 3 staff at the self checkouts hovering ready to help.
