I appreciate this branch for providing halal meats with reasonable price. However, I've found Halal butcher shops in Brighton are quite expensive. Please continue offering this service, as there is a clear demand for it.
No customer toilets.!!!!! Lewes Road store.nWhy oh why have you got rid of the toilets? Whose stupid idea was this? A member of staff said it was part of the new refit..!?nnAnd then when I asked to use the disabled toilets - the staff told me they don’t have a radar key!nWell I think that’s a lie as - 1 how do you service and clean them? And 2 what happens if a disabled person has an accident inside the toilet? How would you get in to help them in an emergency?nI understand they weren’t kept in good shape anyway but other stores keep them clean and useable so why can’t this store?nnI love using the smart shop which is great, but I won’t be using this store as I won’t feel comfortable shopping knowing there’s no toilets.!nPlease rethink your plans in your refit to bring the customer toilets back.
I had a very upsetting experience at this store on the morning of 18th May. As someone with an invisible disability, I asked to use the disabled toilet, which is the only toilet available in the store. I was refused access by a young security guard because I didn’t have a Radar key, and was told to use a petrol station across a busy road instead, with the nearest safe crossing a long walk away.nnThis lack of support was distressing and unacceptable. Staff made no effort to assist me, despite the fact that not all disabilities are visible and the law requires reasonable adjustments to be made. I left feeling humiliated and unwell. I hope the store reconsiders its approach to accessibility and provides better training on how to support disabled customers.
Great prices on oilnI got 5 bottles!!nHow many will you get?
Not a friendly store. We were regular customers but not anymore. My 3 year old needed a wee, and they refused to allow access to the toilet. When I took my son out into the park for to go we saw the store manager and he said that the police would arrest me for allowing it. Clearly this man has no kids himself and no common sense.
