Who's great idea was it to comically understaff the checkout process? Huge queues of people trying to self check out with half of the machines flashing red lights. One or two staff frantically trying to run around and help everyone. FFS hire more staff, any goober with even half a brain could see its a huge bottle neck.
Good place for groceries, good stuff and good parking. Just the bushes need to trim lower. Can't see the right or left hand side of the car coming. Improve everyday
It's my local, and I go here around 3 times a week. I can always get about 95% of my shop.nMy only negatives are: 100% of the time as my spend is always over £100, I get a second scan alert when doing SmartShop. Very frustrating.nBread counter: the bread is delicious, but good luck getting someone to slice it.
Smartshopping in this place is absolute joke. That’s my 4th time I had to go thru the complete check with all my bags. The reason why SmartShop exist is to let people go thru checkouts faster, but instead You had to wait 15-20 minutes till you will get sorted. I’m bringing my own bags placing them in a trolley and packing the shopping on my way to them to have them all well packed not squashed, and then you have to unpack everything and pack it again!! What a waste of time!! Is better to go to the normal cashier and avoid this damn nonsense!! I would understand this if I would try to steal something and be caught on having an extra item on the shopping but I’m not shoplifter !! and this happened to me 4th time on full shopping for around 100£, and I’m sick of this SmartShop thing especially in Bangor store.
Over zealous Security Guard Raymond with red hair stalks you around the store. Likes to stand in every isle with you and stare at you and it's blatantly very obvious. Very unprofessional. My partner and our kids have been followed around also when they go in. Turn round and he's staring at you. Not the only person commenting on security here either. Been happening for years. Strange he follows you all around but never confronts you at the door. Weird, uncomfortable and awkward when you just want to do your shopping, who wants that. Never had this issue in any other store or Tesco's. Somethings not right. Left my partner shaken and upset.
