Sat. 10th August, 2024. Nice little supermarket, easy parking with a good range of items and spacious isles. There were a few products out of stock which was a little disappointing, but it was a Saturday. Just one lady on the check out, but we didn't have to queue for too long.
My local and it's great that we have it. You can certainly do your weekly shop, however, it's sad they got rid of the wet fish counter and there's no deli there either. Unsure why given the likes of Morrisons, Booths etc have such counters. Sainsbury's replaced with a pizza bar... Parking is Council run and you get your 1 hour parking ticket money paid by Sainsbury's on purchase of ?£20 may be £10. Staff are all very friendly and helpful, many of who have been there for several years. It's situated in the centre of town so ideal for collecting all your other bits of shopping in the lovely, gem town of Cockermouth.
Was ok overall but parking situation they have is terrible. Have to pay to park, 2 machines were out of order at the time. Not a bad price and you can get your money back when you shop in store but have to spend £10. Had to pay £1.50 just to pop in and get a few bits seemed a waste.
The staff here are great, very friendly and helpful. Couldn't be better.
Not a very big Sainsburys, don't sell clothes or games, no Argos inside.They just do food,plants and flowers, very helpful friendly staff, nice enough little Sainsburys but if looking for bigger then Carlisle is the best.
