Would like to see notices at the bakery section to educate customers on the use of tongs rather than them using their fingers to pick up bakery items then putting them back on the shelf. I personally find these people disgusting. Would like to see some self service checkouts, being stuck behind a loaded trolley when you only have one item is frustrating.
I'm so disappointed. So I took my time walking round your shop. Stopped to talk to an old person .yes the time ran away but still spent over £100pound to then get a parking fine... wat the hell
Lidl is a great shop when holidaying in the North Western Lakes. Easy to find with the sat-nav, easy to park, good pricing, especially on easy to cook meals when self catering. Lots of affordable 'instant picnic' products to make things easier, when trying to move the family out of the accommodation, without spending hours preparing food. Better perhaps to enjoy the day by the lakeside... especially in the darker months, when every hour of daylight counts...
A decent store, love the fresh pastries and breads that are made. Plenty of parking spaces available. I've never not been able to park. 4 stars as I do find they keep people waiting at the tills longer then they should at busy times. On numerous occasions they've closed tills when queues are large leaving over press person scanning. Their priority seems off the mark... Roll on self checkout
Cockermouth has an excellent quality of goods, and I particularly like the free bakery item you get on the app. With The pastel de nata are superb.
