I visit this store regularly, it's always clean and well organised with plenty of good products and value for money. Twice weekly offers. A great shopping experience, with lots of parking. Disabled parking and trolleys available
Very tidy and well organised store. We got all our basic food shop for a holiday break here. Got 10% off end of month coupon too!!
The supermarket is fine and has a wide selection of options.nHowever my issue is with the cashier.nMy items costed me £9.26 and I gave the cashier £10.30 expecting to receive £1.04 change.nAs I made my way to my van, I checked my receipt to find 77 pence change?nUpon checking my receipt the cashier typed in £10.03 into the till.nI was so confused as to why would I hand over £10.03 and not just £10?nSimple maths Lidl of Cockermouth!!!nAnyhow I couldn't be bothered returning into the shop to explain this simple calculation!!nIt's such a disaster that these people have to rely on a calculator to work things out, simple calculations as I was both making her job easier and supplying her till with change they cannot even operate these machines correctly!!!nMore attention to detail is required and less rush, rush through their tills!!!
Lidl is a great shop when holidaying in the North Western Lakes. Easy to find with the sat-nav, easy to park, good pricing, especially on easy to cook meals when self catering. Lots of affordable 'instant picnic' products to make things easier, when trying to move the family out of the accommodation, without spending hours preparing food. Better perhaps to enjoy the day by the lakeside... especially in the darker months, when every hour of daylight counts...
