Great selection of products and the store is really clean. They have an Argos counter at the back. They have a bakery that services fresh goods, fruit and veg section, clothing section, spices, alcohol section, flowers as you enter, and other food items. You can get lottery tickets there. They have loads of self checkout points towards the entrance. Staff are friendly and efficient.
A poorly managed store. One of the main entrance doors is frequently defective and out of use. They can't be bothered to keep the bins emptied. Disgusting to see this last Saturday right outside the only entrance to a food store.
Good place but like everywhere nowadays, sign up for a nectar card loyalty scheme. Everything is increasing in price, so where you can make a saving you might as well. It helps massively…
I have ordered groceries from this Sainsbury’s a few times with Uber Eats and it always takes over an hour for staff to pick up my order.nnI waited 2 hours once with no updates from them — Uber Eats support was unable to contact them. When I called the store helpline myself, after getting through a lot of automated messages, the staff said they offered no help for orders outside of Sainsbury’s own orders and could give me the phone number for Uber Eats — which ended up being the number for Deliveroo instead. I had to cancel and reorder my groceries which took another hour before someone finally picked it up.nnI understand staff are busy and I do not need my orders to be fulfilled immediately but waiting over an hour just for there to be any updates with my order, and the lack of order support, is an issue that should be fixed.
There is a restrictive barrier at the self-served kiosks. You have to scan your receipts before it can allow you to pass, and this is so irritating. You can't punish everybody because of incidents of stealing by unscrupulous few!!!
