Inside, it's just an ordinary chain shop. It's a very nice building on the outside, it's great that they kept the style of the city. Although they are not the only ones who have done it. The assortment is usual, but everything is a bit more expensive than in other shops.
Always quiet and pretty good retail standards. As with all supermarkets the real prices will shock.. look at the clearance price of dog treats per kg!
I always think staff here are helpful but today they went out of their way to offer good customer service. I started feeling really dizzy part way round doing my shopping, a staff member grabbed me a stool to sit on, and pulled some of the cages round me to give me some privacy and then kept an eye on me but gave me space.nThe shop is always clean and tidy, stock rotation is good and I’ve always found staff to be helpful and friendly.nI do wish that there were more manned tills as I think for some customers it’s a really important interaction. I also wish the car park had a second entrance / exit - but I know this is the fault of the council not the store.
Overall it's not bad, usually stocked with what we need for a family. Staff are friendly and always nice. It's very busy sometimes so expect to queue. Only gripes, the toilets are not great and I wish they could do something about the parent and child parking bays. No fault of the store but it's often not possible to get a space because somebody with no kids has parked there. That's the fault of the people parking but maybe some form of monitoring, more bays or more defined rules.
Very clean and tidy. Great layout of the shop floor. The car park was a crazy layout with cars just stopping as close to the store in a drop off lane making it awkward to cross the road
