Well enough stocked supermarket but so hard to find a self service that takes cash! None of them were working today, all card only, and no notification until you’ve queued and got to the actual till. There should be at least one or two in a store of this size. Cash is king!!
Sainsbury's @Hoddesdon is very busy at this time of the year, but it is managed extremely well. There is extra stuff on the shop floor and outside, in the parking lot. I was relieved to find, that there was not any sign of panic buying and that the shelves are well stocked. Still, to avoid the usual Christmas crowds, I prefer late afternoon or evening shopping.
Check your receipt on leaving the store!!nWas disappointed with my visit today to this location. I brought multiple items which were nectar offer. But the nectar discount didn’t come out on multiple items.nMeaning I paid £17 extra and had to go back twice to get refunds for their mistake.nThe staff were helpful in giving the refund but still it shouldn’t be like this when products are on offer.nThe receipt attached as proofnnIf I didn’t check the receipt, I would’ve paid a lot more money . So I advise you all to check your receipt when you leave.
I do not recommend this branch... I tried to do some shopping on Sunday... I was treated unprofessionally by the staff in the meat department... employing unqualified staff demonstrates a lack of proper management...
I see cleanliness and well-stocked shelves when entering the Sainsbury's store. I only have one complaint and problem: if I have a question or don't know something, there's no one to find, no staff to ask a question or anything. I'm very sorry about that. Otherwise, the goods are stocked, you can get everything, and the prices are good too. If you can find it and serve yourself, then it's great, but don't try to ask for help, there's no staff or person for that. Specifically at the checkout, there are helpful people, but they are very busy, and in the back at the stock or products, there's no one to ask anything from or to get help from. It's almost impossible. I really regret that.
