Realy disappointed in this store. It has been a while since I went and it has definitely gone down hill. Like all other shops they have gone overboard on the self checkouts.
All the Plants outside your store are either dead or drying!!nIf you don't have the time or the staff to maintain them, get rid they look pathetic and they're not even reduced!!nI was in today and was behind a feller in a mobility scooter at the check out.nHis packet of chips fell out of his trolley and before the kind feller in front of him could pick them up the feller on the scooter rode over them!! They popped and broke open.....the member of staff a fair haired lady just looked at the bag and did nothing!!nEventually when the kind gentleman picked the bag up did she take the bag of him. She never even offered to get another bag!nShe said she couldn't leave her post at the self service tills.nFine, but get someone to go and get another bag for him.nShe was as much help as the popped bag of crips....useless!!nSo the customer went without!!nIf you are worried about people helping themselves to items and not scanning them in, then get rid of the self check outs!!nShe was just rude, useless and had a face on her the same as your wilted Plants.....Thank god I very rearly use your store!!
Having moved into an Apartment opposite the Sainsbury’s in Calne1 naturally looked to local business. Today I went for a shop but due to my disability I need to use a Mobility Scooter. The store was fairly busy and when I attracted the attention of on duty to see if she could check me out. She acknowledged me but she said she was supervising shoppers who were self scanning and could not leave her post to walk 10 pacescome to the till to check me out. Given I could not use the self checkout and nobody to help me I replaced the items in my basket 8 in all and left the store - Never to return as I found an Iceland nearby and made my purchases there. I will of course relate my experience to the other residents of the Churchill Apartments 39 in all opposite. Sorry Sainsbury’s but you either hire or train your staff properly or you will continue to lose disabled customers or maybe that is the policy. Sad.
Great supermarket with a good selection of high quality products, lovely staff, always friendly and helpful
Didn't have any blue BIC biros, which is what we were looking for. Usually fairly well stocked with everything, though.
