I never usually write reviews as i know how damagibg they can be but after reading alot of similar reviews about this store i felt the need to express my sons experience .nToday he went instorefor the 1st tine after we just recently moved here a teen boy himself and his friend went in to buy an item to make at home.nThey was accused by staff of spilling things instore , was spoken to very rudely when asked where they could find something,followed around the store and eventually both were TOLD to empty their pockets before they had even left the store in front of other customers.nHighly embarassed and upset they both returned without their item .nI can fully appreciate that shop lifting comes in all shapes and sizes and can be rife particularly in teens .however, you should not assume, you should not discriminate and you should learn respect for customers regardless of what they look like or their age!nI have taken this matter further ,as reading many other reviews of this store it seems the staff need some more training on their customer service . I am disgusted on how my son was treated today and after living here jus a couple of weeks i can say it has put me off using your store ,not exactly a nice warm welcome to calne .
Hardly any stock most of the time. Most staff are extremely slow. 27 covered in tattoos and 10 months pregnant, had a wasted, hard walk on my due date, shopping at the store for 8years and still consistently ID'd by the same extremely slow, extremely miserable older lady at kiosk, who has ID'd me thousands of times and doesn't ID anyone else in queue. Forced to then try the garage, another walk, at which my dog wasn't allowed in and I was shouted at by the staff there. Left me walking home with dog and heavy bag in tears. Thanks. Can't wait for Lidl to open, sick of this shop.
LOVE!! I always buy my raisins from here and i,ve never looked back! way better than bıg tesco!
The Sainsbury's store in Calne is okay. The store feels a bit dated. The staff are mostly helpful when you ask them for help.nThe store is well stocked if you are looking to make something for the family to eat.nI personally worry about how much food on shelves gets thrown away. Considering that most of the ingredients to make them get imported too.nThere are so many people in the UK using food banks and going hungry today in 2025. I wish there is more that we can do together to help.
