Went in last night on the 18th December. The fresh dates are actually illegal. A big supermarket selling openly out of date fresh products is a joke..nnCustomer service disappointed. While waiting in line as I had a gift voucher from Loveshop the till wouldn't work so they asked us to move all our items to next desk, then they couldn't get the voucher to work. Hopeless.nnBe warned check the dates and don't assume the Big Shops knows what they are doing.
Absolutely hopeless in terms of customer service. Scanned in batteries advertised as special offer but were registered as original price. Tried three members of staff two said it was not their department and customer service didn’t understand the problem I.e. if you didn’t have a hand scanner you were being ripped off. I gave up.
Sainsbury's in Glasgow — absolutely amazing!nnI visited Sainsbury's, and their self-checkout system with a scanner is just awesome! You grab a scanner at the entrance, scan items as you shop, and everything's ready at checkout. If you're registered in their loyalty program — it’s super convenient! Fast, no queues, and full control over your shopping. Definitely recommend!
Sainsburys has gone to the DOGS. Blackmail into having a nectar card by rip off pricing. A whole range of items discontinued. French unsalted butter. Cafe Direct tea and coffees replaced by high street branded rubbish. The extra mature version of own organic cheddar. Closed the bakery so warmed up frozen offerings. And now discontinued MacSweems veggie haggis the best on the market. They must have trawled thru my Nectar data to stop everything I bought. Only shop here for bog roll and soap which are above par. Othrewise unlikely to be back.
Good supermarket lots of variety. Love the clothes they sell at reasonable prices. Sad to see that the cafe has now been replaced with a Starbucks!!!
