I've heard a lot about this place, so I decided it was time to visit. The food was tasty, but nothing extraordinary. Chicken was good and well marinated. Unfortunately, a few issues reduced my overall experience.  First, the QR code menus. While I understood their use during the pandemic, it feels unnecessary now. Our entire group struggled to get online to view the menu due to poor internet connection downstairs, which was frustrating and dampened the experience.  Secondly, they don't offer Coke or Pepsi, just some generic cola drinks. This was a disappointment for our group.

Update: 5th August 2024 - ordered a rump steak medium rare and it tasted perfect. The chocolate pudding and custard was just as good as before. I tried the Sahara mint crush drink and it tasted really refreshing after that meal. Also service has massively improved compared to before, the 2 waiters were really polite!Food: 5/5

The food here is always amazing! My go to is the Sahara chicken steak! The customer service we received from Omar was impeccable, polite and professional. He throughly checked on us multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed. Love the new addition of the robot serving our food! Was a wonderful meal and experience!Food: 5/5

Visited Sahara Grill for the first time on recommendation of a friend who’s is food blogger and said it’s a must go to for Sumptuous food and great service. It was a special occasion and the staff and members ensured that we have amazing experience. Thanks Omar for the service Food: 5/5

My sister wanted to have her Nikkah here. We pre booked for 40 guests on a Sunday and were given the back of the restaurant which was great because it was a secluded area away from other diners.  I had called up Jamal to arrange the menu before the day and he was great! We had a budget and his recommendation ensured that we were well fed with food to also take away!  food, service and atmosphere was 10/10, my family and guests really enjoyed the food, making the day a truly memorable experience. Thank you very much!  Wheelchair accessibility: My grandmother uses a wheelchair and was able to use the lift easily  to where we were seated

Second time having food from Sahara grill, travelled from Newcastle and can confidently say we were not disappointed! From the amazing customer service, the facility to pray with the staff which contributed to creating a welcoming and very friendly environment. The food was 10/10 highly recommend the steak! and the service was fast despite being busy. : Special thanks to Azim for his amazing service!

What a find Sahara Grill in East London was for us! We were searching for something beyond traditional kabobs and naan. We ordered mocktails, sahara wings and the Ritz Frite. Wings were just perfect - hot, tangy and crisp. The Ritz Frite was a delicious fusion of Mauritanian rice, tender chicken slices and Chinese veggies. Just excellent food. . And the staff was super attentive. Highly recommend

A lovely restaurant with a lovely staff. Gave me free soft drinks on my first takeaway order. Went back for another meal the next day and they helped me with internet as I needed to finish some work.  Food was delicious, decent waiting time and lovely customer service!

Second time visiting Sahara grill! Amazing amazing service. I visited last year october with my family and Sami went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable table. He was so polite and patient! He served me and friend today and really gave top notch service. I always appreciate a restaurant where staff are lovely to talk to. Since I first had the classic beef burger, I’ve been craving it! So simple but tastes really good.  Parking: Parking is free after 5.30/6.30pm but you probably have to drive round a bit.
