I was really looking forward to visiting Saffy's to celebrate my birthday with friends on 30 March. What a disappointment! This was the most unwelcoming place I have been to in a very long time. There was no welcome from staff when I arrived and no offer to take coats which had to be put on the floor. The restaurant was cold and the staff even colder. We shouldn't have needed to ask for the radiator behind us to be put back on as the fact some of us had to put our coats on should have alerted the staff to the fact it was cold. We were rushed from the moment we arrived to order our meal with no time given in between courses, with the staff making it quite obvious that they were clearing up for the end of the night from about 9.00pm onwards when we were still trying to have conversation and relax. A really disappointing, unwelcome and uncomfortable experience.

My favourite eating place in Ayr. Always a great menu on offer in relaxed surroundings. Perfect for couples or groups. Friendly staff and competitive prices. Check out the Katsu Chicken for chook with a kick.

Shocking customer service from this place. Booked a mothers day lunch for 6 ladies for tomorrow to be told at 6.30 pm this evening that it had to be cancelled. Explaintion given we have a large party in! Well i knew that because they told me we could have the table until 2.30. So booked it for 12.30. My mum has not been well recently and was looking forward to this lunch with her daughters. Dissapointed to say the least! Unfortunately will not recommend this establiahment, good food does not make a good restaurant. Good customer service is paramount!
