The customer service is quite appalling. You get told on the phone that you don’t need reservation but when you get there, you’re told that you need to reserve or wait outside in the cold for a table to be available. The food took long to come whilst the Naan only 1 bread got cold and nothing Cree with it originally should come with a Humous. The staffs weren’t really friendly, no friendly vibe. The prices don’t match with what’s on Google review. Food is gone more expensive and you only get one side with each main. For example, you order a fish mean or a Kobedeh, you either get a rice or chips or salad with it for £17.95.
The food was great ordered the iraqi kebab and the other kebab dish with saffron rice - was like £53 but I only could take out £50 out of tesco AtM and he let me off by £3 which was nice ! It was nice food , nice service , didn’t come at a busy time so got a table and the food straight away . Thankyou
The worst customer service ever. he literally threw the utensils at the table in a harsh way. Only because we waited inside the restaurant not outside. It is freezing out and the restaurant was empty so why is he mad ? Plus, he is very grumpy and wouldn’t even talk to us. He also threw the menus at the table. We are paying for money it is not like we are eating for free for him to treat us like this. Definitely won’t come again!
I was close to Marble Arch and wanted a nice place to have dinner. Walked down to Saffron. It was lovely and warm. Staff were friendly. I got hummus and bread for my starter. The bread was a little thin and crunchy for my liking. The main was lovely, it was a chicken shish a variation of the Turkish shish. I would have liked to have had homemade chilli sauce or salsa but instead they bottles of hot sauce. If you’re around Edgware Road then I would recommend this place. Prices are a bit higher than some of the other places offering the same food but it’s just about within reason. Lastly, there is a 15% service charge.
The food is very bad, we have ordered tikka and come out to be chicken in tomato sauce, not taste of tikka in there. No spices no coconut milk. Prices are very high for the portions of food you get. We love Indian cuisine but this is very far to be Indian.
Very average food. Cramped. Noisy. I went there few times over few years not my preference and it always says credit card service is out of order. In London this charging mechanism is soooo important that it will be fixed by the service provider in no time as emergency but this restaurant, out of the genius of the owner, has so much time years to fix it to the extent that he printed posters in Arabic only!!!! that say credit card service is out of order. And then, they add 15% service charge to the bill !!!
The last visit to this restaurant was a harsh experience. The food is not good at all. Only the rice tastes. The price is very expensive compared to the quality of the food. My best advice to the owner of the restaurant is to close this restaurant I do not recommend this restaurant at all.
I came to ask for a reservation, they told me 1st come 1st serve! When I came the restaurant was pretty full, give us a table by the door, and a table inside was reserved! I don’t know what to say!
From where shall i start? 1-Rude cashier wants to take the service charge £9.99 15% by force. 2-No knifes, hard meat and chicken 3- Disgusting, nothing looks like Persian or Irani food. 4- very Expensive Please don't go horrible experience I'm having nightmares already. Bless you all be safe
The food was average and price was very high compared to another Persian restaurant in London. Add to that, they did not offer us tea. Only they accept cash , no credit card.
