Amazing steak was really well presented and tasted very good. For starter we went with the garlic bread. i would definitely recommend that. The service i was impressed however they did miss-bill us they were very prompt to correct it which was fine. The restaurants atmosphere was quite busy but that's what you expect from a good restaurant! All in all, nice location in Newbury and well suited interior.
The food was amazing, we chose the valentines menu, to mark the occasion and it did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was a nice relaxing vibe inside and was able to find a nice snug table for two. Would return again
First time visiting a Cote restaurant. I've been hankering for French food for a long time. The meals were all reasonably sized, hot, and extremely tasty. Staff were efficient and polite and helped out other fellow patrons to deal with their food intolerances. Prices were very reasonable especially when I consider the prices at other French restaurants. All in all a terrific experience.
Went here for a birthday brunch. Absolutely fab service, fab food and lovely staff. We felt like we weren't even in Newbury whilst we were there Highly recommend the food especially Avocado on Toast, French toast and Eggs Benedict! No parking but there are places to park only a couple of mins walk away.
Great restaurant. Delicious food. Perfect service. Worth a ramble to Newbury for its quaint streets and eateries. Will be back !
The place is beautiful and sophisticated. The waiters served us in a gentlemanly manner. The foods-drinks were delicious and we left the restaurant satisfied.Food: 5/5
Having a wonderful lunch here today. It’s not easy to find a nice French restaurant but Cote is the one. Although the restaurant was very busy during lunch time, but it worth the wait.
A very busy Saturday night. Lovely aesthetic to the interior of the restaurant. Nice diverse menu. Food came out slower than usual, but they were particularly busy. I ordered a Ribeye steak. It came out beautifully cook, but was like chewing on leather strap. I did quietly mention it to the waiting staff and they insisted it was changed right away. Had a new steak in front of me in under ten minutes, which was absolutely beautiful. A few things did go wrong for our table throughout the evening: long weight for food. Forgot our drinks order. Chewy steak.... We are a very chilled out couple and understood they were under pressure. And our evening wasn't at all tainted by the small issues, as the staff were very quick to amend the food problems. They were very apologetic and adjusted the price of our bill total by way of an apology. I would definitely come back again to eat. Which wouldn't be the case if the staff hadn't acted so brilliantly. For us, the great attitude of the staff really turned it around for us.
We had a lovely champagne breakfast / light lunch today. This is the first time I've had champagne that I've enjoyed. The food looked really great but we ordered the light lunches which were absolutely delicious. I'd love to try their breakfast next time.
All the dishes look really good, moreover they are delicious. We had salmon ratatouille, steak frites and burger, as dessert we had tarte aux pommes apple pie and cream caramel. Definitely I will go back. Staff really nice and pleasant.
