Superb arrangement done for me while I waited, very professional great service

S & J Flowers in Weaverham is extremely poor, both quality of flowers and also customer service. Perhaps they should employ a decent Manager! Boxed display of flowers received, delivered by friend, as a thank you gift. Within 36 hours, flowers smelt dreadful (like stinking fish), buds dropping off, flowers wilting. Phoned shop at 10.30 am & told that driver could possibly pick them up THE NEXT DAY, but she would ring back to confirm. 4pm following day (30 hours later) still heard nothing. Flowers outside due to terrible smell! Phoned shop again, spoke to same person (manager). She said driver would NOT pick up flowers as he hadn’t delivered them in first place & I should contact the person who had given us the flowers and ask her to return them. No apology offered for state of flowers or for not phoning as promised. No alternative but to drive to the shop with offending flowers – round trip of over 20 miles. Same person/manager offered replacement which I declined as others on display were not much better. I chose to take loose bunches to same value. Total was a couple of £’s light so I chose a bunch of roses to make up difference. I was disgusted when she said I could have only half of them!! I would never go here again – terrible attitude and service, let alone quality of flowers. I get much better quality at Tesco’s for LESS than half the price AND THEY LAST!!!
