91 year old Father in law referred here due to back issues... appointments cancelled or times changed with less than 24hrs notice ...last notification was on a bank holiday so couldn't even get In touch to say we couldn't bring him to the earlier time due to work commitments. . Was then noted as a missed appointment even though they were notified we could not take him due to lack of notice
If I could provide zero stars I would. My mother has recently been registered with this practice after moving into a local cafe home. The care home has reached out to the practice several times asking for a review of my mums health. Given she has breast cancer, which has spread throughout her body and is terminally ill you would expect this to be a priority. The practice in fact gave no response to the care home. I then reached out to the practice after around 1 and a half weeks of no luck from the care home. I spoke to a reception who said “I don’t know why that’s not been done” great. She advised she would chase. I then called back after 3 hours, spoke to another receptionist who said he would again chase with the doctor. On the third call that day to the surgery I spoke to a lady who advised a home visit had been booked for the following day. Today. After the care home waited all day for the doctor to arrive I called the surgery again to find out where the doctor was. Baring in mind this was now 5:30pm to be advised by the receptionist that the home visit has been moved to tomorrow. Firstly nobody informed the care home or family of this so my mum has been waiting all day for this visit. Secondly this has already been delayed over a week for a terminally ill patient who is in extreme pain and needing her pain relief adjusting. Which I had advised the reception staff over the phone. Absolutely disgraceful. There’s zero patient centred care whatsoever.
This practice has been my GP for 16 years and except for the occasional wait times that are prevalent in most health services I am my family have been well treated. GOOD DOCTORS!!!
I hate having to write a bad review but my experience does warrant it. ECG Test results not given. Despite being done 14 days ago. Nurse said would be provided in 2 days. I'm still waiting. No apparent notes on Airmid app re result, up to press. Good or bad a patient needs to know if a heart condition is the same or worse. Complaint lodged with them about that and other things, via email. I know they've received it. Receptionist told me. Another receptionist had no idea about their complaints procedure. Not her fault if she's not been trained. That lies with admin management. Rutland Lodge not even acknowledged receipt of complaint. Seems to echo similar concerns about test results mentioned by another reviewer recently, on here. I had to chase up some blood results to obtain them, recently, as well. Experience on the phone not good with Shadwell ? operative. Apparently they deal with things for Rutland lodge now, as well. Something to do with Diamond ? Group. No CEO apparently. I was told Dr M or Dr G in charge. I emailed Dr M about situation. Awaiting response. I have a number of ongoing health issues. All in all, I really don't need the stress this is causing me.
Warm and welcoming place. Staff lovely. My physio was very thorough and explained the reason for everything I am advised to do.
poor receptionist service. phone line kept referring to using patchs over and over again however patchs stated on their website that this gp practice was not using it and my reply was said to be ‘inappropriate’ even though it very clearly was not. was impossible to get through to reception and general poor service as i have been with this practice for a while. appointments are late and little care is made. would not recommend registering here if you are in leeds even if you live nearby. after 31 minutes on the line asking to make an appointment, i was told to make one via patchs at 8am the following day as they only take appointments ‘on the day’ which has never been made clear.
My experience to date with this surgery from receptionist to Doctors has been very poor. They don't have interest in their patient. Receptionist answers sounding very uninterested, doesn't want to give information to basic questions and desperately wanting to put the phone down. I saw Dr**" last year about my health issues that still haven't been diagnosed and we spoke about my personal issues in my life, he told me to go back to the people that have caused me so much stress and basically literally laughed at my face. I have recently had my bloods done and scans at the hospital and the doctor don't give me the results. I eventually speak with the nurse who deals with results and she quickly says it's clear with no explanation I have had no follow up from the doctor. I recently had a scan at the radiology dep at the hospital and again, no update from a doctor or nurse bearing in mind I've been back and forth trying to understand what's going on with my body and begging for basic blood tests. Recently I spoke Dr ****", she asked a lot of questions about my personal life which I answered and sat crying for about 20 mins. She did not react whatsoever, dead eyes not any compassion towards me She hadn't left any notes on my file since then so I am here again stating from scratch and with no explanation or next steps for how I can get a solution to my health issues. I don't understand what is going wrong. The doctors should just tell you if they are at full capacity or distressed themselves. Or they should explain why they leave so many gaps for the patient. I am a patient why can they not just tell me what the next steps are. It is so messed up that I don't even have the time or energy to revisit or use the online system to book another appointment
I feel this is one of the best doctors in Leeds I have always had professional and prompt attention taken here and very friendly doctors
Gp surgery practice, serene environment. I was there for my son's circumcision. Nice waiting area, accessible entrance for physically challenged persons. The drs were so ready for questions, just wanted to do their job and get paid.
Normally a really good GP practice. The new PATCHS system however has made it nearly impossible for me to actually contact anyone for an appointment. Last two days PATCHS has not allowed any new requests as it has reached its “safe capacity” and tried to ring up and the line is engaged?
