As a thai native, I'd like to say that the noodle soup broth and ingredients are spot on. Tastes just like the noodles at home maybe even better! I've been to a lot of thai restaurants around london and this little restaurant is one of my favourites. Authentic, not white-washed and cooked to perfection. Today I had the duck noodle and the breast was so tender and flavourful. Thank you for the great food and great service! See you guys next week ;
Favorite Thai takeout in the area. Not a great place to sit in and have a relaxed dinner because there are only 4 tables and there's loads of takeout drivers walking in and out and lastly because there are boxes of takeout containers laying around the back. But I definitely recommend for collection or take out
Just had another fantastic takeaway from the Rusty Thai. I live in Thailand 3 months of the year and this is my favourite, authentic go to, every time when in London!
I could do better with Lidl noodles, Poundland chicken and a jar of out of date sauce. This was meant to be Pad Thai, but contained hard noodles, copious amounts of harder chicken and a bitter and sweet sauce. And a few bean sprouts cooked more than the noodles. Unrecognisable as anything other than a child's first attempt at chicken noodles of some unknown sort. Maybe if we'd ordered earlier in the day they'd have tried? Binned.
Refused to honour a 25% discount on Deliveroo, although the lady who tried to reason with the manager who said he didn't care if I didn't order again, so nice to know that's what he thinks of customers! was lovely. The food itself was mixed. Nice fish cakes and squid hence one star but the Pad Thai didn't taste fresh and the chicken in the soup and Chicken Satay was dry and slightly unpleasant. Wouldn't order again.
The portions are generous but the food is pretty awful. Worst squid I ever tasted, you could tell it was old, probably microwaved and hard as old boots and also no flavour whatsoever. The pad thai was slightly better than the squid but also really bland, with hardly any flavour. Would not recommend it.
I love this little place!! I am yet to eat in because I've only ever ordered through Deliveroo but their food is lovely! I love the selection of starters, they must have gotten fed up with my nightly order of literally just starters and prawn crackers the mains are very good too although on occasion, the green curry can be incredibly hot but it's the kinda situation where although your mouth is on fire, you continue regardless because the curry is so bloody nice.
I've never used Rusty kitchen before, I wasent disappointed. Good portions sizes, the food tasted great I even had enough left over for lunch today. I will definitely be using this restaurant again.
Good food and portion size. They are happy to use your container if you're getting takeaway as well so that's a 5 from us!
Oh lawdy, delicious deluxe I have ordererd a million times of deliveroo, and it always soothes my hangover Massaman + panang + pad Thai are ooooh Yumbo Baggins
