Rusthall pharmacy... Last time I’m going there. Took a prescription in with half an hour before closing and explained that I was sorry and I knew they were closing but I needed the medication tonight and I heard them say when they were asked that it would be tomorrow. I said is there any chance I could do the prescription with one item on and they said no. I said I work in a pharmacy myself and can do it in 5 minutes and I had a response of take it to my pharmacy which is an hour away. Not the first time I’ve had a terrible experience there either. I had to wait for antibiotics from Friday evening until Monday morning because again they couldn’t be bothered to do it. Even other occasions during the day with plenty of hours to spare, same experience. I know for a fact these prescriptions take 10 minutes max but they like to take advantage of people not knowing the industry to take their sweet time…
As I write it is closed for lunch, despite not being listed on Google as closed, and with no clue how long for. Most prescriptions appear not to be ready until you turn up which means you often wait for a further 15mins or even have to come back. I'm not clear how they get their deliveries as they often do not have the meds even there. Generally they blame the doctors but when I used to go to, the now closed, Lloyds in Sainsbury's I never once had any issues especially with the doctors!
