Absolutely brilliant GP practice!! Not just the GP’s to thank but the nurses, other practitioners and the receptionists! Can’t recommend this surgery enough! Every time I talk about my surgery with anyone else I realise again how lucky we are! Always get an appointment and even now they’ve transferred to online referral form I still get an appointment very easily! Thank you so much for putting up with me for the last 5 years! I can’t thank you enough!
Reception is not helpful. Was asked by a Dr to take blood test. Never follow up with me when the result came back until about 3 weeks I called. Booked a dr telephone consultant about 2-3 weeks later. By the time I talked to the Dr about my blood test result , I was asked to take another blood test again because the one I took was “out dated” - that’s only because the clinic never follow up , nor ask me to call in a specific time , and wait for another 2-3weeks to speak to a dr, the blood test result of course became out datednnFine, I took the 2nd blood test , about 10 days I checked on NHS app the result is back and clearly indicated that dr consultant is required, but no one from clinic follow up. I call again to book, again have to wait 2+weeks later to speak to the dr.nExplained to reception that I need to speak to dr asap before the result becomes “out dated” , they refused to do so. Just asked me to try “emergency request” every day morning.nnThe experience of speaking to reception is not great , they don’t want to listen and help. Having said that the dr is good.nnTo book blood test or get test result , the only way is to call. You can’t use online form outside their office hour.
I honestly need to leave this review because the online system is becoming unbelievably frustrating.nnI cannot log in to the patient system at all, and this has clearly been an ongoing technical problem that still hasn’t been fixed. The ANIMA online service constantly fails — login errors, access problems, and pages not working properly. It feels like every time you actually need to use it, something goes wrong.nnThis is not just a small inconvenience. Patients are being pushed to use online systems instead of calling or visiting, but then the system itself simply does not work. When you are unwell and trying to contact your GP, the last thing you need is fighting with a broken website.nnI genuinely cannot believe I’m the only person experiencing this. Is anyone else having the same login problems with ANIMA? Because from my experience, this looks like a wider issue that needs proper fixing, not temporary patches.nnPlease, Rusthall Medical Centre — this needs to be addressed properly. Patients rely on this system to access healthcare, request appointments, and communicate with doctors. Right now, it creates stress instead of helping.nnFix the login system and make the service reliable for patients.
We have just moved house and I unfortunately have to move surgery. Dr Waugh has been a fantastic doctor to myself and my husband over the years. We shall definitely miss her. Sometimes it is difficult to navigate Reception or the Anima app but we have found that the response from Dr Waugh has been quick and efficient and we have always got the result we wanted in the end. We shall miss her.
My family always get such great service from these doctors! Dr Waugh is warm, friendly, kind, and knowledgable - everything you want in a doctor. It must be something in the water at the surgery because when we’ve seen other team members Dr Hambly & Mr Bosworth, various nurses it is always the same experience. The front of house team are efficient & helpful, and just the right amount of assertiveness with a difficult job to do! I feel very lucky to have such a great service available to me, thank you Rusthall Medical Centre.
