We found this cafe just before a trip to the British Museum today. The welcome and service were great and the food and atmosphere were fantastic! I would highly recommend Ruskin's cafe for these reasons and the fact that it was such good value and friendly too.

We came with four kids, the lady at the cafe is very kind and we had the most amazing scones! Kids loved it so much they said they want to come back every week after school!

Good sandwiches that are fresh and cheap next to the museum and attentive staff
Very close to the British Museum, selling sandwiches and cakes. I chose to eat here because they have a good hygiene rating. It's important to know that all places selling food get checked by the local council and you can check their ratings online. Staff are friendly and the food was nice.
Super friendly staff, scones to die for!!!!! Wow, the best we had in London. They have convenient locked-up bag storage so you can visit the British Museum without carrying around all your stuff. Super convenient, just a couple of blocks from the museum and from the bus stop at Museum Street.
