A lovely little church with a beautiful historical graveyard with stunning views over the village. Although there is currently renovations, its on the back of the church & there's no facilities apart from a basic chemical portaloo on the carpark. Askers Lane is a bit of a nightmare, 1 car wide, steep & sharp bends with very few passing places & it's one way from Rushton village to Beat Lane but I think the residents ignore this. Not for the nervous or inexperience driver
Wedding 21.08.2021 It was an absolute honour to recently get married in the church of St Lawrence, Rushton Spencer. Thank you to the hardworking church wardens and PCC for keeping the church so well presented. The church has a special place in both of our hearts, with several relations being buried in the graveyard. It really meant the world to us to get married here. We hope the church remains well supported as the village would be lost without it. Love the new Mr and Mrs J Lovatt x
