A beautiful Old church dating back to the Eleven hundreds at least. The grounds are well cared for and are manicured once a week. Outside there are a number of beautiful old Yew trees although they shed a lot of mess they are a treat to look at. This church yard is nature friendly and has bird and Bat boxes installed. The Water Spouts ,Gargoyles and Grotesques are worth looking out for. Inside the church there is a pleasant compact and intimate feeling. At the moment the church is looking for trainee Bell ringers. Next to the church is the duck pond. The whole area has benefited from a clear up. The trees have been pruned and the branches that were removed have been used to make wildlife sanctuaries. Many new small trees have been planted and this spring should see the benefit of all this hard work. This really is a place to visit if only to sit and feed the ducks. During this prolonged Covid19 lockdown this site has become a sanctuary for many people to take their exercise or just sit and reflect.
