Imaginative, friendly events for people of all ages, with specialist ales in the station and a buffet car café experience. Model railway as well as the real one. Diesel and steam hauls. Wonderful collection of old adverts on the station building and local history railway-related exhibition.

Lovey day out with or without the children! The beers and ciders are craft and they have a brilliant range , there’s always something on twice a month on a Sunday there is live music ,a few times a year they have 1940s events with live music people dress for the occasion too! Overall it’s a lovely place I’m pleased my dads a member ! They also have a disabled entrance on to the platform and disabled toilet with baby change. After I suggested they needed a baby change area 8 years ago they had one fitted! And now my son is 9 ! And it’s great to see lots of parents using the station steam train rides and little children what could be more fun !
